The former president's Granddaughter Gets Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

This young athlete boasts impressive social media following

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent supporters when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is related to Donald Trump, received a tournament invitation to play at the Annika competition in the Sunshine State.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, possesses multiple courses worldwide and frequently matches against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't reveal details but we have competitive games," she stated.

Kai explained that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Just avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa basically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"In my eyes, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has played in just three tournaments recently and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

But she's able to get advice from 15-time major champion, romantically involved with her mother.

"He stands as the top athlete globally," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior human being. He told me to play, have fun, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in women's golf at this tournament, including world number two the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner Lilia Vu.

Tournament organizers commented that involving Kai brings golf to different demographics, especially among youth audiences.

The social media influencer has a massive following and recently launched an exclusive fashion and living brand.

She begins at late afternoon GMT.
