Los Angeles Explodes in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Secure Back-to-Back World Series Championship
The City of Angels witnessed widespread festivities after the Dodgers won a nail-biting seven-match World Series championship. Supporters worldwide joined Angelenos in celebration, marking the first time in a quarter-century that a team has secured back-to-back championships.
Celebration Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties throughout the city.
Online footage depict countless of Los Angeles residents flooding downtown streets, many carrying homemade signs and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a open-top bus through the masses, hoisting the championship trophy proudly.
